My personal experiences living in Cairo, Egypt. Sunday, December 12, 2010. 2 months down. How many more to go? On the good news, we do have most of the possessions we shipped here. This being our "express" shipment. The shipment that is supposed to be here within 6 weeks. Fun to find out that it has been here for weeks, but due to some bad instructions we were giving on coming here, we couldn't get it until a week ago. This has made me a very unhappy camper. You are about to enter a Bitch Session!

I hit snooze at least 4 times. (Why? After finally getting up and sneering at the husband because it is so early and on general principles, I quickly got showered and dressed. There is so much to learn : about my placement and the staff at the POE, Provincial Office of Education, and DOE , District Office of Education, the community in which I’m living and the local environment. Wednesday, November 19, 2008. Friday, October 10, 2008. Back in Town - The Great Wall. I did not drown in the Yangtze or disappear. In the labyrinth of Beijing. . I am. Back Although I am working through my second cold. This one is run of the mill sniffles but please keep your fingers crossed that this will be the last for a while. The weather has turned a little chilly and we have had some beautiful blue days. One of those lovely days I spent at the Great Wall. Can you see little me up on the parapets?
