The Work of Sowing. This is how I feel about sowing into my children’s lives. I can imagine who they will become and the potential I see in them, but tilling the soil of their hearts and sowing truth into them is hard work. I am a outgoing introvert who fell in love with Jesus at the tender age of 3. Most days a cup of coffee is mandatory…two is preferred. Being an aunt to my (16) nieces and nephews, chai tea, a new journal, good book and deep conversation make my heart skip a beat. The hubbs and I have been married for 10 years and are in the trenches of parenting #raisingellie and #maggiemae. Karen’s Caribbean Cooking Delight. Made with a mortar and pestle and used to mix the season ingredients. All ingredients go into a large soup pot with enough water to boil until soft. Use a deep iron pot or deep fryer with enough oil so that the balls will float when frying. Soften meat in a pressure cooker for about twenty five to thirty minutes or in a pot for one hour. I'm not expecting bad news but I can't help a little niggle creeping in. I've decided to talk to the Consultant (if I'm lucky enough to see the Consultant that is!
