One Summer evening my wife and I were driving around the Georgetown, Texas area and were taking photos of the sunset. As we turned around to get in the car, the moon was beginning to rise. It was a beautiful sight. On a trip to Norway I took these images at Nordkapp or North Cape, the northern most accessible place in Europe. Midnight Sun over Barents Sea. Sunset on the Horn. Visiting the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge near Soccoro, New Mexico is fascinating when the Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese are migrating. Snow Geese in Flight. Many feed stores dye chick eggs in brilliant colors at Easter. The eggs are porous and the downy feathers absorb the dye. When the chicks are born they are in technicolor! As the chick's new feathers grow in they are their natural color.

The Sami's (native people of northern Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia) raise reindeer for meat and skins. During the summer months they are left to roam the far north. In the fall, the reindeer are rounded up much like our cattle. The Albuquerque Police Department horse patrol are always a pleasant sight at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Los Ranchos de Los Golindrinas is a living history ranch outside of Santa Fe where you feel as if you just stepped into the 1700's. A Note From the Past. There are thousands of petroglyphs etched.
