Wednesday, 29 April 2015. Year 3 - She swallowed a fly? This week, Year 3. Students were introduced to a new song -. There Was An Old Woman Who Swallowed A Fly"! The students began by listening to the story and giggling at the fantastic pictures in the book. A lady with lots of animals in her tummy was a funny sight! Thursday, 28 May 2015. Preps play the Tambourine! Today, the Preps learnt all about the percussion instrument, the tambourine! They recognised that the instrument is in the shape of a circle and the little silver cymbals on it are what make the sound. The students had a great time playing the instrument in the song 'Pass the Tambourine Round the Ring' and all played it gently. Some students were asked to play it softly. or LOUDLY! Sunday, 2 August 2015. As a dress rehearsal for our performance at QCMF, the Choir will be performing at our school assembly next Wednesday 12 August. We will perform one of the songs we are singing at the festival.
