Kari writes about life. Friday, October 03, 2008. I kills me to admit it, but our Lucas is no longer a baby. He's officially a running, jumping, climbing, talking, laughing, singing, energetic boy! And we love him to death! Tomorrow we're going to the Pulaski Days parade. Luke gets so excited when he sees trucks and trains and construction stuff. So, I think he'll absolutely love the parade. Plus, he's got a smidgen of Polish in him, so he needs to learn how to celebrate Pulaski Days right!

We've taken a few trips this summer. We spent a few days up North, touring wine country, hanging in Traverse City and visiting Boyne Highlands. We've also went to the beach. Kari writes about life. Thursday, October 25, 2007. Ahhh, fall is here! The older I get, the more I love fall. Summer is just too damn hot! Here's some cute pics from a quick trip to Robinettes. We had a rescan of Luke's head on Wednesday, and he's progressing VERY well! He's already 75-80% where they want him to be, and it's only been 6 weeks. THANK GOD! Damn, Lucas looks so much like Matt! Cute photos. I need to download mine. I couldn't find the cable. Hehe, story of my life.

Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Why are kids so mean? My Lily is 3 years old. And ALREADY is dealing with "mean girls". How is it that 3 year olds already have that cattiness and cruelty built into their play time? Lily seems to handle it well, I am the one who wants to do battle, cry, and rescue my baby from the nastiness of the world. Instead, I bite my tounge, choke back my tears, and let her handle it. But it sucks. I know my kid isn't innocent either! She can be just as wicked. And I won't tolerate it!

A Day in the Life of Kari and Malachi
Thursday, November 8, 2012. Looking back over the past few months, I can truly say that God has been with our family! My heart is a little overwhelmed tonight with thankfulness to the Lord for being so merciful and gracious to us. Kari's last stay in the hospital was very rough. I won't sugar coat it.it was a long 8 days that we struggled through. Thank God her counts were good though and are holding steady still! I have some news to share. The kids and I will be relocating to Alabama in a few weeks!

Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Walk Day Finally Arrived. The Take Steps for Crohn's and Colitis walk finally arrived on October 13. (. Be impressed, I'm blogging about it within the same month. ha. And be prep ared for picture overl oad! I was very blessed to have all my siblings and nieces and nephews that live within 4 hours of here come. I also had several friends join us (some who drove 2 hours to participate . Thanks for making the long trek! We spent the entire day pretty much outside and I loved it!

What are Kari and Michael Having for Dinner? Sunday, February 20, 2011. Sunday, February 20. This recipe is a huge pain to make. And takes about two and a half hours. But it turns out really good. The green sauce is made from tomatillos (those things that look like wrapped up green tomatoes) and poblano peppers, which are broiled and mixed in the food processor.
