My name is Kari Facer. I was born and raised in southern California, but am currently residing on Oahu in Hawaii while my husband finishes school! We are expecting our first baby, a boy due Dec. 29, 2013 and are super excited about it! Let's see.I have loved photography for quite some time now. I got my first camera when I was 14 years old, but didn't really start getting into photography until I took my first film class as a senior in high school back in 2007. I loved it! Wednesday, January 29, 2014. January 5, 2014, 8:27pm. 7lbs 15oz, 21.5 inches. Simon was due December 29, 2013, but I was hoping he would come in January so that his birthday wasn’t right in the middle of all the holiday craziness! So we cancelled our evening induction! I did have stronger more regular contractions that evening (the. Midwife had stripped my membrane), but they only laster about 3 hours and then went away. The next few days were so hard! But our nurse was super sweet; we really liked her!

Friday, June 21, 2013. That's right. i'm pregnant. Luke and I are super stoked to be having a baby. The baby is due Dec 29, 2013.but we'll see when he/she actually comes. Today I am 12 weeks 5 days, and we'll hopefully be finding out the gender of our little bean soon! It's been hard to not tell people, because i've been pretty excited about it! Simon is now 8 months. every month gets more fun and entertaining with him, i don't think i have a favorite age yet because i like them all.except newborn, but only because simon was colicky. Friday, February 7, 2014. Happy one month to this little boy! Calms down almost immediately to white noise (but that doesn't last forever). Loves looking at things of high contrast, like black and white stripes. Takes both a bottle and a pacifier! Falls asleep in his car seat on trips every time (unless he is hungry)! Thursday, May 15, 2014. 12 lbs 11 oz, 25.5 in. Started laughing a lot more! It is so fun to get him laughing! He LOVES to chew on his fists. always has his hands up by his face. He does like to hold your finger, and then he immediately pulls it towards his mouth, sometimes he gets your finger in his mouth, other times he just gets his fist with your finger inside. He is a little slobber monster. lots of baby drool. He is still a talker! Started using his hands! Can roll over from his stomach to his back!

Thursday, September 26, 2013. Weeks 20 - 26. 24 weeks 6 days. I should wear shirts like this in baby bump pictures more, it's hard to tell what i really look like in my baggy ones). Here are some pregnancy update photos (missing a few):. 26 weeks 3 days. Luke and i laugh at this one. i look super square in this pic for some reason). We went on a hike with some friends a couple weeks ago in Hauula. this hike turned out to be very beautiful, but also much longer than we thought. but we had a lot of fun! 16 lbs 10 oz (5%). Simon is gaining some weight but has not really grown in height.possibly has my genes.we are late bloomers in the height department. Has 3 teeth, with another on the way it looks like. But he still loves the water. Says "dadadadada," "mamamama," and "wawawawa". Makes lots of funny faces.

Tuesday, March 25, 2014. This is what usually happens when i start taking pictures). This little boy loves to talk! Right after he eats we started propping him up against our knees so that he is facing us and we have little conversations with him. they last about 10 minutes before he starts getting fussy again. Friday, June 20, 2014. Dave, court and sally visit. Dave, Courtney and Sally came to visit us in Hawaii! They came out at the end of April/beginning of May and stayed with us for a couple weeks. The first couple nights they had a hotel on Waikiki, and so we got to go and stay with them there a night (so fun! We tried to take a picture of the cousins.they were very wiggly). Simon: 4 months, Sally: 10 months. He just started finding his feet right before he hit 5 months! Loves to be on his feet though!

On the way back, he was loving it, so we moved onto the safari ride, and he had a blast spotting all of the animals bouncing around on the bumpy trek.
