Where are we now? November 11, 2013. Talking about rural Laos may seem odd for those who know Laos since the country is mainly rura anywayl. A part from a few biggish cities, Vientiane the capital has only 280.000 people, most of the country is dotted with small villages with wooden houses, and lots of chikens, pigs, water buffaloes and most importantly… rice paddies. November 11, 2013. ສະບາຍດ Sa bai dii Laos. Luang prabang, vang vieng and vientiane : ze french legacy, the rocks and the Communist. Enter ...

Where are we now? Small cities, big adventures. October 21, 2013. So, as we keep heading towards the tribal northern part of Thailand we stop at a couple of places worth seing for a number of reasons but mainly temples, museums and some ruins. I just love how you can see the most unexpected things in the most unexpected places. October 21, 2013. Luang prabang, vang vieng and vientiane : ze french legacy, the rocks and the Communist. Good morning Vietnam! | Postcards from Saigon
https://postcardsfromsaigon.wordpress.com/2013/11/30/good-morning-vietnam
Where are we now? November 30, 2013. Sitting at the bus station of Sam Neua, tired from yesterdays long ride, we drink a coffee while waiting for the bus which will take us across the border to Vietnam. It’s 7 am. In a couple of hours we were at the Vietnamese border, and after a few questions about our marital status, nationality and our favourite spanish football teams (the typical question to ask to a Spaniard), they briefly checked our bags and we were off. Where are we now? ສະບາຍດ Sa bai dii Laos. October 24, 2013. This is my first post on the blog( I think you’ve noticed by now that the other ones belong to Silvia), so do feel free to criticise the things I’ll write. That being said , I have the honour to write about our first steps in LPRP( Lao People’s Democratic Republic the official communist name- but I personally prefer Lan Xang which is translated as the country of a million elephants ). Travelogues… people are funny aren't they? 2007-2007. And then maybe 2012 to present. Watching TV with Africans. I found this entry recently. It never made it to wordpress when i was actually in Uganda. But here it is now…. 1 Big Brother Africa… I don’t like it at all, but it gives good insight into African Culture. Unlike the N. American BB, which shows one hour per week, the African BB plays 24h a day! The Ugandans et al I’ve been hanging out with in the TV/sitting rooms here have given me a grea...
