This is what I look like wearing my Tiramisu at work, and thank you Frida who took the picture! With powernet and added some elastic under the bust, added some centimeters for the hem and I really like the result, I would have liked it more if I had paid attention to the pattern of the fabric while cutting. 3,3/4 Tbs coffea liceur of espresso type, you can use Kahlua. 3 Tbs confecteners sugar.

I´ve been kind of obsessed with Alabama Channing these days and my first attempt is this top,. I think it´s Burda 1/2005 and I´ve made it once before. I found the perfect buttons for my Gravel Road. well, I suppose that they could be MORE perfect if they were metal. Otherwise, they look great. I went to Field's Fabric store. My most recent goal was to finish Janet Szabo's Gravel Road from the Twists and Turns Spring 2003 issue by June 1st. Yeaaaa! This is a picture of the tools that were used for the project. Apparently, I am a bit fussy when it comes to what knitting needles are used. I do like pointy points, though. There should be a toothpick in there. I used it as my cabling tool! Next in line project.

Just wasn't ready back then. Beaded Eyeglass Don't-Loose-'em Cord. For those of us who use bifocals, a cord holding them around your neck is essential to keeping them from becoming misplaced, or lost. My old one gave up the crimp on one side, so I got another Mill Hill kit at Hobby Lobby. My eyeglass' lifesavers! I Knit Therefore I Am.

After a big project like the last one, I like to shake it up, both in type of knitting and size of the project. I found some lovely roving on the Fyberspates website. It's wool/silk/nylon/silver. Think socks. I wasn't thinking socks, but the lovely shawl pattern "Aeolian" from the Knitty. The roving was called Sea Mist, a perfect name for the shawl. Yet more knitting candy. Once the dutiful holiday knitting is over, it is time for me to do something new for me. This year I have chosen Classic Elite's Attitude, 85% pima cotton/ 15% silk, which I was able to purchase from Elann last year. The color is melon? A far cry from my usual fare of blues or burgundies. Attitude yarn by Classic Elite. The back, at 9".

I did not set up any sewing goals for last year but I will for this year;. I would like to find a way to sew the optional pantie or make a decican to just continue buying them. I would like to sew a shirt in an inexpectly fabric that only can be found in a quilt store. I will go to Toronto, Stratford, London and Rome and Stockholm and Copenhagen. And I made a bra.

Tisdag, juli 10. I dreamed a dream. Jag drömde en gång om att jag hade en pulka som var formad som Darth Vaders hjälm. Det är näst mest besviken jag någonsin varit när jag vaknat upp. Mest besviken var såklart den här. Once I dreamt about having a sled shaped as Darth Vaders helmet. It's the second most disapointed I've ever been whilst waking up. Most disapointed was this time. When I dreamt about being in space. Onsdag, juli 4.
