Sunday, February 10, 2013. I am sitting here relaxing on a quiet Sunday afternoon, trying to gear myself up for the week ahead. Tomorrow I will be getting a port. This is an outpatient surgery where they place a plastic valve under the skin right below my collar bone. Then a catheter is threaded to one of the big veins in my neck and down near my heart. This will then be used for all blood draws and infusions. He will get off easy because I won't feel like chocolate by the time we are done. Music therapi...

I went to Atlanta last month to visit my sister, Stephanie. She has 2 girls the same ages as 2 of my girls.so I just took those 2. My other 2 kids thought that was mean of me, but too bad. Melina's Gymnastics Winter Wiggle. She was witnessing all the pushups pullups and other exercises they do at class along with climbing the 20' rope (I about had a heartattack the first time I saw Melina climb it.I just knew she was going to fall and break a bone). Floor exercise.it was such a cute routine and Melina worked so hard to get it just right. The vault and the uneven bars.they don't do too much with these yet at her level but she loves the bars. Ill be watching for her in the 2014 olympics.

Saturday, December 24, 2011. It is Christmas Eve and I can't believe I have time to make a blog post. The shopping is done, the present are wrapped, the goodies have been baked, the house is clean(ish), the kids are out riding bikes in an effort to "get tired enough to sleep tonight," and Blair and Matt are at the gun range trying to expend their Christmas Eve energy. Monday, July 30, 2012. Weekend with Gami and Papa Frank. The kids and I spent the weekend with my parents. We went to the beach on Saturday, but had to leave prematurely due to the weather. Sunday, June 17, 2012. My sister-in-law, Brittany, visited with us for a few days with her little ones, Emma and Eli. We went to Karen and Roger's pool, had a girls night and spent a day at the beach. We enjoyed our time with them! Alex relaxed while the kids pushed him around.
