Boracay is part of Aklan Province which became an independent province in 1956. Formerly undiscovered, it wasn't till the 1970s that tourism began to develop in Boracay,. And the island became popular with backpackers in the 1980s. Truly a stunning place! Tagalog for good bye),. Posted by Karl Grobl. Links to this post. While waiti...

Photojournalist www.KarlGrobl.com. Saturday, February 20, 2010. Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Photo © Henry Greene. Today we visited Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (also known as S21) and the Killing Fields of ChoeungEk. While at S21 Prison, we had an amazing stroke of luck and actually met, talked to, and got a tour of the facility by Chum Mey, one of only seven survivors of Tuol Sleng. We stood in stunned silence as he described his life during his incarceration. Posted by Karl Grobl. Links to this post. We just a...

Photography by Odille's Blog. Post Processing Tuition (Photoshop). Equipment (including for sale). SOME CHANGES TO MY GEAR. Due to age and infirmity, I can no longer carry my big heavy cameras, so am moving to the Fuji X system, the mirror less camera. I chose Fuji because I liked the feel of it and the layout, and I got my first one at half price from a FB contact. It’s been a steep learning curve but I’m pretty happy with the gear so far. Photography by Odille's Blog. Post Processing Tuition (Photoshop).
