Karl Wilson's blog: Mainz – Media City

Mainz – Media City. German Cities - 2. Mainz is the media capital of Germany, but there is so much more here than ZDF. The single best site has to be the Stephanskirche. Well, more precisely, the window designed by the artist Marc Chagall. But there’s close competition, because the city was once home to Johannes Gutenberg, and the museum of his name includes a world-heritage Gutenberg Bible. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Koblenz – The city on the Rhein and the Mosel. German Cities - 3. Start off at the German corner, Deutsches Eck, where you will see Kaiser Wilhelm I ‘guarding’ over the spot where the Mosel runs into the Rhein. You can climb the steps to the plinth on which the Kaiser stands and see the plaques representing where Germany’s borders once stretched. 160; karl.wilson@web.de. Links to this post. Welcome
When ever I think back to my naive outlook of what the future held for me, I’ stunned. There were so many expectations that I have realized were dream and only that. Right now my life has come to the point that I am at one of those forks in the road. Less traveled by is as Frost seemed to recall, nothing special. So I will wonder about for a bit, and simply take it in as i will. Not tilting intently for dreams, and not sitting in a mire of my past. Thank you for visiting and enjoy. August 3, 2013.

When is the London Underground, not the London Underground. When it’s a disused underground line! At Holborn, the old Tram Tunnel hasn’t been used since the fifties.
