Tuesday, August 26, 2008. My first trip to the zoo. Last Friday, mommy took the day off work and we all went to the zoo. Oh, the fun things to do at the zoo. Here I am petting a goat. My 9 month appointment. So here I am waiting to go to the doctor this morning for my 9 month checkup. I only had to get one shot and they stuck my big toe for some blood to measure my iron. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Bye-bye Nanny Shannon. :(. Nanny Shannon is leaving us and we're really distressed. I'm really glad I'm going to get to spend the rest of the month of August with her and Aiden but I'm really bummed to see them go. In September, she's going to go spend time with another family who's schedule is more inline with her needs and those of her family. As such, I need a new, caring and compassionate nanny. Monday, June 30, 2008. As it turns out, there are foods I don't like. Boiled chicken for example. Hated it. Now, if you'd like to talk about Cheerios or Puffs or just about any other type of food, I'm all about it (especially the sugary applesauce that Daddy gave me the other night at Golden Coral. Saturday, March 29, 2008. New Saturday, new food. So this weekend we decided to try sweet potatoes. Yummy! Mommy finally found something I like! I was a mess though by the time I got finished. I liked to grab the spoon as mommy tried to feed me which would cause the sweet potatoes on the spoon to ooze out and drip all between my fingers and down my belly. Actually, Shadow's kinda Daddy's dog, but for all practical purposes, we're going to call her my dog right now. :) Besides, Daddy's probably ready to disown her now.
