The energy throughout the programme remained high as people demanded specific policy driven answers ahead of party rhetoric and false promises from the candidates. From the field – BJP activists arrested, RT Nagar, Bangalore. May 10, 2008 at 4:16 am Posted in Uncategorized. 5 BJP activists from Madanapalli, Andhra Pradesh were arrested from Hotel Nandini, RT Nagar late last night (9 May 2008). Rs. 2 lakh cash meant for distribution amongst voters has been seized from them and the 5 have been charged for inducement of voters.
