http://lkreitz.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. So we went the homemade route this year. Red shirts and tights, black shorts, orange belts, masks, and insignias made out of felt. Thank you, Pinterest, for the templates and tutorials! We debuted our costumes at our friends Kate and Matt's annual Halloween party. Here we are! The kids had masks and gloves, too, but they ditched them immediately.). There was even a bounce house that all of the superheroes enjoyed! Our hosts, the clown family. Fun games at Trunk or Treat! That wo...

From Dixie to Dairy: December 2014
http://lkreitz.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Model Trains, Holiday Lights, Cookie Making, and All Things Christmas. We were able to do some fun Christmas-y things with the kids this season. The first thing we did was visit the Lower Anthracite Model Railroad display. I had never seen a model train display before, and neither had the kids, so it was a real treat! They even had an elevated walkway for the kids, which was great, because as you can see the train display was taller than the kids are! Ok maybe tasting all of t...

life, love, and chocolate milk: January 2010
http://kandwshields.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Life, love, and chocolate milk. Stories of a girl, a boy, and a dog. Saturday, January 30, 2010. After growing up in Mississippi, where I think it snowed only a handful of times in my entire life, I love living in North Carolina, where it has snowed every year that we've been here! This year, it's snowed twice already. I honestly don't think that I will ever get tired of snow (unless we move somewhere where it snows A LOT). And Kirby feels the same way! Saturday, January 23, 2010. The Life of Mo. Virgini...

life, love, and chocolate milk: First up: Paint!
http://kandwshields.blogspot.com/2013/10/first-up-paint.html
Life, love, and chocolate milk. Stories of a girl, a boy, and a dog. Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Once the papers were signed (on Friday morning), our first task was to paint before moved in the following day (Saturday). Yeah. I knew that it would be much more difficult to paint once we had all our stuff in the house, and I couldn't imagine living in a room with this gold and brown faux-finish for even a day. Here are a few progress shots. I told you that I have an awesome family! I'll do a separate post...

life, love, and chocolate milk: Still cold...
http://kandwshields.blogspot.com/2010/12/still-cold.html
Life, love, and chocolate milk. Stories of a girl, a boy, and a dog. Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Remember the picture of that fountain in my last post? Well here's what it looks like this morning:. It was 12 degrees this morning, there's a good possibility of snow overnight tonight, and the temperature hasn't broken freezing for a few days. However, this did enable us to go ice skating at the outdoor rink in Greensboro on Saturday night! Also, our trivia team came in third for the season! The Life of Mo.

http://kandwshields.blogspot.com/2010/12/baby-its-cold-outside.html
Life, love, and chocolate milk. Stories of a girl, a boy, and a dog. Thursday, December 9, 2010. Baby, it's COLD outside! One of the things that I love about North Carolina is that you really do get all 4 seasons here (unlike MS). But winter seemed to come a little early this year! We got our first snow last Saturday:. We only got about an inch or so, but I can't help it - I love snow! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Life of Mo. Virginia (may or may not be for) lovers. Rachel ♥s food.

life, love, and chocolate milk: More Living Room Progress
http://kandwshields.blogspot.com/2013/11/more-living-room-progress.html
Life, love, and chocolate milk. Stories of a girl, a boy, and a dog. Monday, November 4, 2013. More Living Room Progress. In my last post, I realized that I actually posted a picture of the second step in our living room update. This is how the room looked right after we painted it and got moved in:. We also had Walkers' 7-8 year old TV, which was slowly losing pixels every day. From the other angle you can see that we were using Walker's old desk as an entryway table. (Hi Kirby! Hello beautiful. The...
