Sunday, August 9, 2009. I'll be your huckleberry. One of my fun childhood memories is picking huckleberries with my cousins. Our moms would gather all us kid up and we'd latch on our bucket belts and pick ALL DAY LONG! This is only the second time I'v picked huckelberries since I've been married. I know! What was I thinking! Probably that you can spend hours picking and come home with hardly anything. The kids were in heaven. So what did I do with all the huckleberries? Sunday, October 4, 2009. My neighbor gave us two of her huge sunflower heads. I was totally infactuated with them. I have never seen a head with the seeds still in. Amazing!
