Has graduated to the final draft phase - with a likely release date in late summer - and work on the second Lily Thorne novel has begun. Andrew Duff: The hundred day novel. Day 14
http://thrillerodyssey.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-hundred-day-novel-day-14.html
Standalone novels and screenplays. Monday, 24 November 2014. The hundred day novel. Day 14. Time is marching on. But, amazingly, I seem to be more or less on schedule. Either that, or I've forgotten something really important. I'm a week away from my self-imposed manuscript start date, with that warm fuzzy feeling when you've ticked off some big items on your to-do list. It won't last, of course - shortly the scale of the remaining tasks will hit home - but LT2. Locations: started, much detail work to do.

Andrew Duff: A bump in the road
http://thrillerodyssey.blogspot.com/2015/01/a-bump-in-road.html
Standalone novels and screenplays. Tuesday, 27 January 2015. A bump in the road. The Hundred Day Novel needs a new name. The 'One Day at a Time' novel, maybe. Today is day 78, and for various reasons - most of them good - it won't be finished by the deadline. Work on Lily Thorne 2. Will continue of course, albeit at a slower pace. I'm hugely excited about this new story and can't wait to set it loose. It'll be worth the wait, I promise. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow me on Twitter.

Andrew Duff: About me
http://thrillerodyssey.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
Standalone novels and screenplays. I was born in Nottingham in 1974, to parents who refused to let their lust for life be curbed by a bawling infant. When I was fourteen weeks old they put me in the back of their Mini van and drove to Finland. Apparently I spent a night on the ferry being cooed over by a quartet of Scandinavian lovelies. I wish I remembered that. When I'm not writing or reading I'm often to be found up a mountain. Or on a racetrack. Depending on the day I either love or hate skiing, and ...

Andrew Duff: Release day
http://thrillerodyssey.blogspot.com/2014/07/release-day.html
Standalone novels and screenplays. Friday, 18 July 2014. Exciting times. Second Split. Has been a long time coming - I wrote the opening paragraph on New Year's Eve 2010 - so it's great to finally show it to people. I think it's a better novel than The Art of Living Dangerously. Kick back, sip champagne, get some sun? Readers are clamouring for a sequel to Art. What's that you say? Okay, okay, I'm on it. You sound like my wife. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Mountain Odyssey: Back to school...
http://whistlerodyssey.blogspot.com/2014/01/back-to-school.html
Going downhill fast while tearing up money; going uphill slowly while sweating profusely. Stories of the great, the good, and the downright barmy. Monday, 27 January 2014. After a fairly strenuous first day on Blackcomb, on Friday evening I feared we'd overdone it. A hundred new twinges, some back pain for Marianne, my usual sledgehammered toes. and a hefty dose of jetlag to boot. I ended the day with improved confidence and new technique - extremely useful, but ever so slightly boring. My instructor...

Andrew Duff: Lesson learned
http://thrillerodyssey.blogspot.com/2014/09/lesson-learned.html
Standalone novels and screenplays. Friday, 26 September 2014. Today has turned into one of those. Days A day which stands out in an author's grind of keyboard-notebook-facepalm-Twitter-walkaroundthelivingroomtalkingtothespiders. Because today, for the first time in my career, one of my novels reached number 1 on Amazon's charts. Naturally, I printed screen:. But as Second Split.
