Filter Coffee: of kings, freedom fighters and childhoods
http://knagarajan.blogspot.com/2011/02/of-kings-freedom-fighters-and.html
Sunday, February 27, 2011. Of kings, freedom fighters and childhoods. I have not known a childhood without ACK. So for me, it has been a grand parent, an encyclopedia, a friend and an oracle, all rolled into one! Those pages always had a way of breaking down profound revolutions, complex epics and mythological mysteries into simple rectangles of conversations that you would always understand and always remember. Are you listening, India Book House? It was only when news of Uncle Pai's death. The tales we...

http://clarejane.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Well, hello there. Monday, March 20, 2006. Today is the first day of spring. This also means it's my goddaughter Madison's 6th birthday. Holy crap. Rich is back in Seattle working for the week and Karen and I had a total dating weekend. You know when you first start dating someone and you see each other all the time? AND, in the elevator leaving the yoga class we saw Russell Simmons! Posted by Clare Jane at 8:13 AM. Links to this post. Monday, March 13, 2006. Rich took this one over the weekend. Posted b...

Well, hello there. Monday, February 13, 2006. I also attended my second audition after which I was given a part! Posted by Clare Jane at 8:15 AM. Links to this post. Monday, February 06, 2006. The Seahawks were robbed. Didn't everyone in the entire country see Ben Roethlisberger cheat to get that touchdown? How is that possible? How come the Steelers weren't penalized for infractions that were the same or worse than those that were called on the Hawks? Posted by Clare Jane at 7:38 AM. Links to this post.

Filter Coffee: November 2010
http://knagarajan.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 5, 2010. The coffee had just hit its spot when the public address system announced the departure of my flight. Gate 12. This means I have about eleven minutes before they closed the gate. A five minute walk to the gate means I have another six for the 'breakfast'. I begin to work my plate. Two of life's greatest mysteries:. 1 How the chefs in Jet lounges across the country, manage to make the most wonderful coconut chutneys, but just cannot make a single soft idli. A couple of cabin-crew...

Saturday, August 15, 2009. The Joy of Running. The joy of running is the day after you ran, when you get to just relax a little because you ran the day before, right? Sure your legs are sore, but at least you don't have to run again or. Feel bad for not running. Right now I don't quite say that I'm going to run the darn thing. I just say that I'm following a spreadsheet. That, if I do what each cells says over 12 weeks, is supposed to hypothetically prepare me to run a half marathon. Links to this post.

unemployed building drawer: Joey R
http://buildingdrawer.blogspot.com/2009/04/joey-r.html
Thursday, April 16, 2009. This one goes out to a good friend. I found out tonight that Joey, an old and dear friend of mine from high school, passed away either Monday night or Tuesday morning - I don't know. The obituary says Tuesday, but judging from the facebook postings it would have had to have been very early on Tuesday because people already knew at like 8:30 am. My mom called and told me. After going through a few seconds of denial I ran to the computer. Facebook would show it right?

Tuesday, March 31, 2009. I biked myself down to the Alamo South to take advantage of my Austin Film Society membership. Today The movie was free for AFS members. I'm telling you, if you like film, there's just no better deal in town. Look it up and get yourself a membership. Shot on the devestated streets of post war Germany. It's got a very Neorealist feel and ending. Links to this post. Monday, March 30, 2009. Links to this post. Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Documentary Feature Grand Jury Award: 45365.

discussions of things i find interesting: Theories about the new season of Mad Men, based on its poster
http://interestingdiscussions.blogspot.com/2012/02/theories-about-new-season-of-mad-men.html
Discussions of things i find interesting. Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Theories about the new season of Mad Men, based on its poster. Mad Men doesn’t give much away. New seasons have never been advertised with fresh footage. Commercials and teasers for individual episodes are usually oblique, offering context-free snippets of dialogue and unrevealing shots of characters. The posters that precede a new season, however, do have some allegorical relationship to what happens over the season. So, for speculati...
