Ken and Karen Go To Alaska. Our trip to Alaska. Custer State Park, Custer, South Dakota. Posted on August 19, 2014. By Ken and Karen Baker. Custer State Park is known for its beautiful rock formations, small needle holes to drive through, and wildlife. The top wildlife feature is free roaming herds of buffalo (in Canada they are called Bison). We also saw wild prairie dogs, burros, and pronghorns. 1 response on Custer State Park, Custer, South Dakota. August 20, 2014 at 2:00 am. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

On August 11 and 12 we stayed in the Banff Provential Park in the Tunnel Mountain RV Park. On the journey to Banff, we stopped at the Columbia Icefields. We have visited these Icefields previously. To do this tour again would have required a several hour wait because of the multitude of tour buses. We moved on to Lake Louise, AB. December 4, 2015 at 12:25 am. You may use these.
