Notes on barren times. With the exception of my college years, which I spent in Chicago, I’ve lived in Manhattan above 142nd Street all my life. My 32nd birthday, my feelings of political inertia and the 1.5 year anniversary of my fertility efforts inspired me to start this blog. I’ve been dedicated to writing since my junior high school English teacher displayed enthusiasm about my short stories. You can read one of my grown-up stories here. I also write for the webzine.
