God Jul alle sammen, Merry Christmas everyone! Last week we had a "test" in art; we had five hours to come up with a viking inspired design and make a pattern out of it. Night swimming in the ocean - sunbathing in the snow and night trains - what a week! I met Noellen at the train station, and we walked through cobblestone streets to her host family's house, with a view out the window like this:. I think the boat you can see is a ferry to Denmark. Looks like blog updating has become a Sunday evening thing, something to do when I feel like being slightly productive, but not enough to actually work on an essay or do my "homework". First impressions of Oslo Airport. The bathrooms are cute! They're like little ships cabins. Trucks are smaller and cuter too. It's this "hit or miss...

This is my first summer that I haven't been officially training for cross country skiing, so it's been interesting to plan workouts around life, instead of planning my life around workouts. At first I didn't know where to run here; ...

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" - Dr Seuss. My bags are packed, and I have an hour and a half til I leave for the airport. Tord and Helene left for holidays two days ago, so pretty much all the goodbyes are over with. Strange how it's so hard to leave people you didn't even know a year ago. I may end up wearing rain boots on the plane or something.
