I have received a European Voluntary Service (EVS) grant that will fund 6 months living in Siberia allowing me to study Russian and volunteer with an environmental organisation, The Great Baikal Trail. As a graduate of Physical Geography I feel privileged to be given this opportunity to immerse myself in a different culture and to experience working at the grass roots level.
