In 1976 Bruce Jenner won a gold medal for Decathlon at the Summer Olympic games in Montreal, Canada. The Decathlon is a track and field event held over the course of two days, and consists of competing in ten events: 100 meters, 110 meter hurdles, Shot Put, Discus, High Jump,Pole Vault, 400 meters, Javelin and 1500 meters. A huge accomplishment! As I am enjoying the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
