Any movie with John Cusack is an audience pleaser. I am completely aware that many people dislike romantic comedies. Why? They give us false hope. Working in res life, we do a lot of personality assessments. i feel like this is one of very few professions where it's normal to hear statements like, "you're such an orange! It's a big part of why i work in res life. So, it's no wonder that i'm trying so hard to fix a broken relationship. So tonight, i'm trying to remind myself that i did everything i could to 'fix things.' that leaving this broken wasn't my choice. that some broken things just can't be repaired.

Yesterday i wanted to be at disneyland for one more disney day and 24 hours of goodness. and then i thought about how many people would be there and decided i'd really rather go at one of our "usual" times when the crowds are minimal. I woke up yesterday thinking about how in 2012 i got one more day to celebrate life and have amazing opportunities at asu. one more day to show the people i love how much i love them. one more day to prove that i am passionate about what i do.

Tonight was ASU's Second Annual Pitchfork Awards where our students, faculty, staff, athletes, programs, and innovations are recognized Grammy-style on the Downtown Phoenix Campus. Monday, January 30, 2012. My name tag and business cards arrived today. I still miss suu. i am constantly thinking of what i left behind and the people i loved, some for five years, and how they are doing. i hope that someday i'll go back- after i've completed this journey, earned my masters degree in higher ed, and i can make a great impact. i mean, wouldn't it be fitting if i ended up right where i began? There's a lot of steps between here and there, and for now i'm more than satisfied being here.

Wednesday, August 22, 2012. 1 year ago today, we had the PODS loaded and they were picked up very early in the morning. The house was sold 3 months prior. Am 12 Juni des Jahres 1826 konnte die erste städtische Badeanstalt ihrer Bestimmung übergeben werden. Dass es überhaupt dazu kam, ist die Anregung des damaligen Oberbürgermeister A. W. Franke zu verdanken. Die Begründung für solch eine Verlegung lassen uns heute schmunzeln. Die Badenden wären den Blicken des Publikums ausgesetzt.

Ich liebe es nicht nur gebürstet zu werden, ich liebe auch ausgedehnte spaziergänge. naja, vermutlich habe ich es diesmal etwas übertrieben. ich bin einfach so, unerlaubt und ohne bescheid zu geben, in die weite welt hineinspaziert und auf der suche nach neuen abenteuern ich bin ja ein kater von welt und eben diese kann mir nichts anhaben. Weil ich weiß ja, die menschen sind komisch und die vermissen mich vermutlich schon sehr. ach, diese menschen! Fischverführung – oder auch nicht.
