He immediately started taking all of his feedings by bottle, in record time no less, just so he could come home. So instead of trying to take care of the yard ourselves (which is why it became a disaster in the first place), we hired a landscaping company to do a complete overhaul of our yard and maintain it weekly for us. Now it looks amazing and we’re so much happier! Seeing our yard before put us in a funk and reminded us of all the things we had to do that we weren’t getting done. It was awful! It is such a better feeling to seek help when needed or cut unnecessary things out altogether.

Tuesday, October 14, 2014. After 8 weeks in the NICU our sweet Daniel came home! I was so excited the night before that I couldn’t sleep.I seriously felt like a little kid waiting for Christmas! In the morning I woke up feeling giddy with excitement that a day that I have been anticipating for years had finally arrived. While it was bittersweet leaving his brother behind, I know he is in great hands and will be joining us soon. And when he does our family will finally be complete! He is such a superstar.
