Adventures in Paris: June 2010

We decided to get some exercise today and climb the Eiffel Tower. Unfortunately, you can only climb midway and then you have to take an elevator to the very top. The lines were extremely long for those elevators and we postponed our trip up until another evening. We'd like to see it glitter from the inside and look at the city lights from above. Today we embarked on an adventure with a guide by our side. Kayla proved to be very knowledgeable about the city and was able to entertain us along the way!

Today we finished our Amsterdam trip. We got to see the Van Gogh Museum, the Heineken Museum, and we also had a wonderful lunch at a place called Homemade. It was nice to eat fresh fruits and veggies! Jaime and I wandered around for a bit until we headed back to the train station. These signs are everywhere around the city. Excitement is brewing! We had so much fun! It was Sarah's first game and it . Couldn't have been a better one! The players came running out after the win and dad was . Embracing" the champagne as they sprayed it into the crowd. . It still brings a smile to my face! You can almost see my house from here, but the crowd is filling the frame. . John thinks we should rent our place out if they go all the way. . Back for the thrill of it all. we believe.
