http://katgreenstore.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thoughts and info about coloring, drawing, and the role of art in the lives of our kids. Sunday, December 12, 2010. Benign Explosives for Boys. My daughter said little boys will love to color explosions. I agreed, that sounds like something every little boy would relate to; but in our current troubled times, I wanted to make sure these were fun, exciting, positive explosions. Corine, my daughter in law and web designer, suggested baking soda volcanoes. Perfect! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I'm getting really excited about my Kat Green Store Princess Party at the Seattle Cup Cake Camp. I hope my princesses and fairies will add some magic to the day for all the little girls who attend. I think I will bring Princess Power Packs too, just in case. Here we are in a rose bush. And lounging in a blossoming cherry tree. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thoughts and info about coloring, drawing, and the role of art in the lives of our kids. Thursday, January 6, 2011. Kids, Science and Autism. Speaking of shots, what about childhood immunizations? Wakefield is defending his position. As a recap, his article in the British journal Lancet with 12 other authors, linking autism to the MMR vaccine, has been retracted; and 10 of the 13 authors have recanted. Brian Deer, writing for the British Medical Journal, calls the article deliberate fraud. My figure draw...

http://katgreenstore.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Thoughts and info about coloring, drawing, and the role of art in the lives of our kids. Monday, October 25, 2010. I received a message on Face Book today from the mother of a young girl who had received a copy of my Jumbo Book for Girls from her grandmother. I eventually made the connection. The grandmother's sister in law had ordered three books; one for herself, one for her sister and a third for her sister in law- the grandmother in question. Talk about a complicated chain of events! I had no sooner ...

It will not surprise you that I have a lot of vivid memories of coloring. It was and still is one of my favorite pastimes, especially with a little grandchild at my elbow. Nutritional advice for multiple generations of heart health: Put a box of crayons on your grocery list. :). Happy Mother's Day to us all, with special thanks to my glamorous, colorful mom.

Thoughts and info about coloring, drawing, and the role of art in the lives of our kids. Sunday, January 22, 2012. Into Each Life Some Sweat Must Fall. Small stuff is not worthy of perspiration, per the old adage. Therefore, I have steeled myself against the disappointment of the covers of my Princess Power Packs. They are not usable, so I am a few bucks out, and discouraged because I hoped to ship them tomorrow. What do they use for "O Magazine? I'm just a simple senior administrative assistant. I c...

Thoughts and info about coloring, drawing, and the role of art in the lives of our kids. Saturday, April 21, 2012. Are all merchants madly in love with every customer who places an order? Honestly, I want to call down the most opulent blessings of heaven on every soul who places an order on my website or finds me via another channel. I wonder if I will ever get over that. I hope not. Some days, you just feel like life is shining down on you specifically and individually. I sincerely hope you are havi...
