PGCE: Only The Positives: Final Placement Finished
http://pgceonlythepositives.blogspot.com/2012/06/final-placement-finished.html
PGCE: Only The Positives. A simple log of the highlights, funny moments and achievements [hopefully] from my PGCE year. :D Leave your mark. Saturday, 16 June 2012. Just a quick update. My final placement finished yesterday, so - for now - that means no more teaching, no more planning. Yay! My class teacher was really sweet. She has got me a great card, a cake, smellies, vodka and wine! Things are wrapping up now. Who'd have thought it? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Summer ...

PGCE: Only The Positives: Working One-To-One
http://pgceonlythepositives.blogspot.com/2012/06/working-one-to-one.html
PGCE: Only The Positives. A simple log of the highlights, funny moments and achievements [hopefully] from my PGCE year. :D Leave your mark. Tuesday, 19 June 2012. It was really nice, working on that level with my sample of children. They seemed to enjoy it, especially the MA/HA children I picked as they are often expected to get on with things whilst the teacher/TA focuses on the LA. Instead, they were getting the full of attention of an adult and were being asked to talk about their ideas etc. :). If yo...

PGCE: Only The Positives. A simple log of the highlights, funny moments and achievements [hopefully] from my PGCE year. :D Leave your mark. Saturday, 26 May 2012. The Ancient Egypt display came down this week [or, rather, was reduced in size and moved to another display board] - that was the class topic for spring term. As we are 6 weeks into summer term now, and with Ofsted looming, it was time for a change. :). Some were fantastic, some were very cute. Eg, 'Did he have bunk beds? Saturday, 19 May 2012.

PGCE: Only The Positives. A simple log of the highlights, funny moments and achievements [hopefully] from my PGCE year. :D Leave your mark. Friday, 27 April 2012. I am two weeks into my final placement and things are going an awful lot better than my first! I've even managed to get the hang of the IWB - despite not having used one before this placement. :). I am feeling really positive about my pgce for the first time since it began. :D. Life is pretty good. :D. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A dream is you...

Positive Change Now: March 2012
http://positivechangenow.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, 10 March 2012. Let someone out in traffic. Yesterday I did quite a few little trips around town and let out people waiting at side roads whenever I could. It's so easy, so quick and makes no difference to my total journey time - but could make quite a difference to theirs. And you may even get a smile in return! Wednesday, 7 March 2012. Wednesday is always a strange day in the week - it's so far from a weekend isn't it! So where is the kindness today? Today I think this counts: I made small tal...

Positive Change Now: February 2012
http://positivechangenow.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 28 February 2012. As suggested by St Alban's Diocese: 'Live the challenge'. Feed the birds, treasure God's creation. As you feed the birds watch them and take time to wonder at the beauty of what is around us. The more we wonder and appreciate the wonder of what is around us, the more we will take care of it - and enrich our own lives. Random acts of kindness. Friday, 24 February 2012. When someone does well, or has some good news, congratulate them! My friend is getting married - hurrah! Many p...

Positive Change Now: 100 happy days 61 - 70
http://positivechangenow.blogspot.com/2014/08/100-happy-days-61-70.html
Wednesday, 6 August 2014. 100 happy days 61 - 70. It's always nice to have a bit of validation. A resource I made very swiftly (and with typos) got a good review on TES. I wouldn't normally post this sort of thing but it can be part of my. And because I know at least person who will like this even without tagging her. Karen Arthurs - who did know it was her! A sunset with beautiful fluffy clouds always makes me happy. This one is the view from my hotel at Gatwick airport, all set to fly tomorrow. Has to ...

I love creating things. Here are some of my arty explorations. Thursday, 5 May 2016. I went for a walk with a friend to blow away some cobwebs. The weather has been sunny and clear all day, and I was looking forward to some lovely golden light over the bluebells before sunset. Unfortunately it got a little bit hazy, but the smell of the bluebells was amazing. Even without the rich shafts of golden it was definitely worth it. Here are a couple. See some more on Flickr. Thursday, May 05, 2016. I could stay...
