Baker #4: August 2012
http://baker4.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 11, 2012. Day at the Zoo. One day in June I took my niece with a friend from work and her little girl to the zoo. It was a fun day filled with"ooo, they're so cute" comments :). This gorilla is actually really weird, but you can't go to the zoo without a picture taken by it. Fortunately for us, we were lucky enough to take A LOT of pictures here! Here is my friend's little girl and my niece (5 months apart) - smiling at the same time which is always somewhat miraculous. Day at the Zoo.

Baker #4: Christmas
http://baker4.blogspot.com/2012/06/christmas.html
Tuesday, June 19, 2012. I went to spend Christmas with my mom and dad in Los Angeles who are currently serving as Mission. President and Wife for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I helped with some baking and wrapping and all things "last minute" Christmas. We were able to Skype Christmas morning with my sister and her kids; and then my brother with his kids. But, when there are only 3 people, there really isn't a need to take pictures to document events. And the final product!

Baker #4: Whooo's Done?
http://baker4.blogspot.com/2012/07/whooos-done.html
Tuesday, July 03, 2012. Here is my completed quilt for my classroom this coming year, with the theme "Look Whooo's Working Hard! Thanks to my mom for always finding cute patterns, and phone. Technical support. And thanks to my sister for helping with the border, binding and "stitching-in-the-ditch". Of course that leads you to ask what I actually did. I bought fabric all by myself, put each owl together and sewed the owls together. Easy? Look at you and your bad self! That is so stinkin cute!

Family of Power: July 2012
http://familyofpower.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 29, 2012. North Carolina is for Grandbabies Part Two. Janette drove to Raleigh from Fayetteville. To spend the day with Amanda and I. The babies played and we talked. T would not let go of her "Pocket Dictionary and Thesaurus". We spent some time at the Container Store. It was complete Nirvana for organizational junkies like ourselves. After a yummy lunch I left with Janette and T to stay with her for a few days. T also likes to abuse her mother. Really, what toddler doesn't? Tuesday, July 2...

Family of Power: June 2012
http://familyofpower.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 24, 2012. One of the things I've enjoyed about not working full-time (as in a job I go to- there is ALWAYS work at home) is having a little more time to read blogs that I enjoy. When I was working I only read my children's blogs. I've been catching up with Cakewrecks. Because it makes me laugh out loud. I've also been catching up with nienie. I was so happy to find out that she had a baby. I can't wait to read her new book Heaven is Here. Writtten by a friend of mine in California. 65279;Who...

Family of Power: October 2009
http://familyofpower.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 22, 2009. May I have a Monacle, please? Friday, October 16, 2009. Katie finally finished her Personal Progress and received her YW Recognition on Sunday complete with a necklace (silver). I'M SO HAPPY. After 4 girls I'm done weeping and wailing and gnashing my teeth. Now all my efforts turn toward David to finish his Eagle. He's so looking forward to that. In me it suits me just fine. So remember it's mamaw to you NOT memaw. Can you guess what's wrong with this picture? If you guessed t...

Monday, July 02, 2012. She is so cute :). I was attempting to use this photo program to entertain my niece this morning. It didn't really work out, but at least I got two that were semi-okay. I am biased. I know. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Family of Power: Temples and Mexican Food
http://familyofpower.blogspot.com/2012/09/temples-and-mexican-food.html
Sunday, September 2, 2012. Temples and Mexican Food. On August 25, 2012 Jim and I celebrated 13 years of marriage. We celebrated by having most of our family and some very dear friends join us in the Mesa Arizona Temple where we were sealed for time and all eternity. In the scriptures it says, " . . .they shall inherit the kingdom of God, which was prepared for them from the foundation of the world, and their joy shall be full forever. It was truly a day full of joy. Gabe being silly . . .
