Every day’s a race into the night. Take me on a train. →. I don’t carry silence in my head so easy. April 4, 2010. Today was Easter, and it will certainly be one to go down in the record books. I went with Michael to International Christian Ministries Rome. Before I forget, I also sent out some more postcards, so keep those eyes peeled. More will soon be following. Pretty ordinary stuff really. I am here to learn, here to have fun, here to see a side of Rome that isn’t overtly touristy. It ...Sounds like...

Sketchbook | the drawing board.
https://charlesspires.wordpress.com/sketchbook
I decided to document my sketchbook from this semester on here. I probably won’t put every page on here…that would be a lot of pages I think. I can’t wait to get this book really full in Rome, Sweden, and everywhere in between. This is my favorite way of documenting travels, thoughts, and what not. Good luck reading the writing. The gist of it all: [quiet times, loud thoughts]. Two hour perspective for midterm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

Take me on a train. Land locked blues. →. A whole mess of roads. April 13, 2010. Lo and behold, I found one I liked, with an authentic Venetian Fleur-de-lis stamp that proves it real. That made the trip for me. That night, I cooked dinner with Cassidy and Mark for some of our friends over there, and it was a long night full of the tensions and thrills that come along with complex friendships. Oh, and we saw Robert Downey Jr. at Palazzo Vecchio. No kidding, Ironman himself. We will get back late, but it w...

These Days...: August 2011
http://annrbarber.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Keeping a record of these constantly challenging, yet consistently rewarding days of motherhood and all that it entails. Monday, August 22, 2011. I wish I had lots of beautiful pictures of the kids to post like last time, but I think family will be more excited to see these. Abigail is smiling and cooing now-LOVE this stage. Andrew is wearing me out the most right now. He screams A LOT and grabs things from Ellie and Luke and refuses to eat things I. Plus it is FREE. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

These Days...: Catching Up
http://annrbarber.blogspot.com/2011/10/catching-up.html
Keeping a record of these constantly challenging, yet consistently rewarding days of motherhood and all that it entails. Friday, October 7, 2011. I'm back (finally) to play catch up. Exhausting and so incredibly fulfilling at the same time. Here is our Nile River that we made. It is supposed to "flood" and then the grass will grow on the banks. It's not working out so well, and our play-doh pyramids have drowned from the rain here in Alabama. She is getting so much easier, although eating twice at night ...

On your way. →. Ciao, rome sweet rome. April 27, 2010. Here are the drawings I did for my drawing class. A couple of them are rushed, one of them isn’t finished to the level I want it to be at, and one of them could make me a lot of money apparently. Here they are, try and guess which ones were chosen by our second professor here [acid drawing of feelings, preferably with pigeon poop and vegetables]. This slideshow requires JavaScript. A whole mess of roads. The other side. →. April 18, 2010. The train ride back was also pretty interesting. These two guys thought I was Italian, and started talking about how they are glad no one could understand them in our cabin. What did I do? This entry was posted in when in rome. Pilgrim Days: Joy in suffering.
http://tilpilgrimdaysaredone.blogspot.com/2011/08/joy-in-suffering.html
Sunday, August 21, 2011. The last couple of days the thorn in my flesh wanted to keep poking at me, reminding me that I am inevitibly, continually weak. My initial, fleshly reaction is to kick and scream, feel sorry for myself, and sulk into depression. Why me? Yes, there is deep pain throughout this world, but surely mine. Is the worst. (Please include a sarcastic tone in that statement.) Surely the Lord has forgotten me and I am too irredeemable. This summer when I was in China, our team studied Philip...

These Days...: Shocker
http://annrbarber.blogspot.com/2012/02/shocker.html
Keeping a record of these constantly challenging, yet consistently rewarding days of motherhood and all that it entails. Monday, February 27, 2012. Is there anyone still out there? My life is full. The days are long. I feel beyond blessed most days and so stressed out I could scream. And a lot of times I do. My kids HATE when I do that. What child doesn't hate that? Then I usually tell them, I HATE when you scream also. Ha! Anyway.I miss this and just wanted to say hi! February 28, 2012 at 5:37 AM. I hop...

These Days...: September 2011
http://annrbarber.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Keeping a record of these constantly challenging, yet consistently rewarding days of motherhood and all that it entails. Saturday, September 3, 2011. I made it back before an entire month passed! It's a little bittersweet for me. I can kiss any hopes of Luke ever being an Auburn fan out the window after this weekend. I will keep Andrew cheering for my team though, as long as I can. Thinking of a way to get back at him. Aggravating. (Andrew being very cooperative). She got the reaction she was hoping for.
