I am a special type of mother. I have a wonderful family which includes a fantastic husband, three cats and two beautiful angel daughters who will live in my heart forever. I am a costumier. As well as having my own business Bohemian Magic. I also work for Queensland Ballet and Queensland Theatre Company. I love making historical costumes, with my favorite period being the 18th Century. Corsets and undergarments are a favorite to construct as they are the foundations that make a garment.

I gave birth to my daughters at only 24 weeks and 2 days (just over 5 months) gestation. They lived for nearly two weeks but both got an infection that their tiny little bodies could not fight off. My first daughter Charlotte was born at 1.42pm on Sunday 9th November 2008. She weighed 590gms and was 28cm long. She is the most beautiful and serene little girl and we nicknamed her "Little Princess". Charlotte passed away in her mummy's arms at 12.40pm on Thursday 20th Novemver 2008. My First Mother's Day.

This website is a tribute to my twin daughters. It contains my personal story - both heartwarming and heart wrenching - but that is the life of a mother of angels. Chris and I attended a balloon release to honour Charlotte and Marianne along with many other babies who died. It was a beautiful day and we all wrote to our children on the balloons and then released them up into the sky. I was amazed how emotional the day was, watching all the balloon float away. After Charlotte and Marianne died I have done many things to honour their memory. I have bought items to remind me of them, and done some things as a legacy to help other grieving families. When my girls where in the hospital they had coloured name labels on their issolettes -. Charlotte's was purple and. Marianne's was pink, so these are the colours of things I get for the girls and I have chosen butterflies and bears as a theme. Please visit my Support Groups. My Journey to Motherhood. Friday, January 14, 2011. Henry just as he was born - 1.55pm 6th January 2011. Our big boy - 3.615kg and 54cm long. Mum and Dads first photo with their son. He makes some of the cutest faces - Im so glad I was able to catch his cheeky smile. Ready to go home. Having a photo with his sisters bears. As per the department of Births Deaths and Marraiges a child must have their birth registered (ie: become a legal person) if it has been carried in the womb for 20 weeks or more.
