Wednesday, February 22, 2006. Now this story is fascinating! There's a 16 year old boy, sitting under a pipal tree in Bara, near Katmandu in Nepal. He's been meditating for 8 months and no one's seen him eat or drink for 6 months. For the past week we have also been without an oven so Dunk and I have been experimenting with cooking on the bbq - and we've had some great outcomes. Monday, February 27, 2006. Cooking up a Storm. The long awaited Kitchen has arrived! And we are very pleased with how it looks. first here is a picture of when it the kitchen was delivered in all it's pieces. So now all that's left to do is to get the wall re-done where the old kitchen sink was (see pic below), get the loo walls done as well, and to get the floors re-polished. Anyway, all is well. And building a garden and path alongside the deck. Isla was keen to help her daddy out in the garden, but as responsible parents, we made sure she had sun protection. When will I learn that New Look patterns seem to run big, especially for my skinny minnys? The instructions for adding the bias tape at the armholes was clear as mud (and I still think they're drawing was wrong) but I did manage to figure it out.
