Too good to be true. Tuesday, May 19, 2015. A little of this, a little of that. I had a lovely Mother's Day with Doug and the kids. We went back to the area we moved from and met up with old friends for the azalea festival which we attended every year when we lived there. The azaleas being in bloom is not always a guarantee but this year they were so that was a pretty addition. I know there have been way too many "Joe in goggles" pictures on this blog, but it's just so ridiculous I can't help myself.

Too good to be true. Monday, June 30, 2014. Ah, June. The beginning of summer. This month marked the end of first grade for Gianna. We are so proud of what a wonderful student she is and of how well she handled moving in the middle of the school year. We really didn't want to do that to her and it wasn't always easy being the new kid, but she handled it like a champ! Last day of school pictures. First hot day. Time to bust out the sprinkler! Avert your eyes if you don't like gross skin conditions!

Too good to be true. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Ah, the joys of home ownership! We celebrated one year in this house a couple weeks ago. We love it still! In other news, Joe likes to wear Gianna's headbands as sweatbands. He also will pull them over his eyes like the ninja turtles (except the headbands don't have holes, so he can't see; this is both entertaining and dangerous). One rainy day, the boys and I did a fun painting craft. Joe made a mess; Mark made a cool design.

Too good to be true. Monday, April 6, 2015. We had a huge crowd for Easter dinner, but Easter morning was just us! The kids were delighted to find their presents and had such a good time hunting for eggs. The kids in the usual picture spot! They looked so beautiful and handsome. I thought Joey would fuss about putting on "fancy" clothes, but when he saw Mark wearing them, he had to be a part of it! Aunt Elizabeth took this one after Mass. So adorable. Easter blessings for sure! They are so cute!

Too good to be true. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. We spent part of labor day weekend at a. Fun farm. The kids had a great time riding ponies, bouncing, and playing around. Doug and I liked the country store. :). We celebrated the last day of summer with breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts. Clearly they hated it ;). The first day of second grade arrives!
