I will make peace with myself. - Postcards for Peace
http://www.postcardsforpeace.org/i-will-make-peace-with-myself
I will make peace with myself. June 10, 2015. Years and years ago, I was given a load to carry. It wasn’t mine, but I kept it within, because I was told that I had to carry it: or there would be consequences beyond what my childlike mind could best comprehend. And carried it, I did. And this was my fault, entirely. But what happens if you keep carrying this load, and more and more of it keeps piling over and over you? I will make peace with myself. Lutalica and our Identity. Olēka and the Personal Diary.

Postcard Exchange Network - Postcards for Peace
http://www.postcardsforpeace.org/schools/postcard-exchange-network
We have all seen those posts on social media, telling us that children aren’t born with any prejudices, they learn them. Postcards For Peace has come up with a plan to change that; we want to create a network of schools around the world who believe in teaching our future generations about respect and tolerance of different cultures and religions. It won’t engage children like pencils or paint will. We want them to create something more tangible. The schools already registered are keen to start soon and w...

The Human Cost of War - Postcards for Peace
http://www.postcardsforpeace.org/the-human-cost-of-war
The Human Cost of War. July 2, 2015. The images of the crying children on a warfront haunt me to no end. The rhetoric that is being shamelessly spilled in support of the wrongdoing is angering me to no extent. I feel guilty each time I eat, or lie down to rest. I feel guilty when I am able to go out on my own without having to fear a bomb going off in my face. I feel evil when I read such painful news in the paper, and then put the paper aside and head to work. Why do we wage war? You bet. The world ...
