Wednesday, May 10, 2006. A Weekend in Hong Kong. Posted by Kathleen at 5:53 PM. For those who don't know, I really don't care for Chinese food. Overall, I find it too greasy and either bland or fishy. Eating only Chinese food for a whole day always leaves me craving a cheeseburger and chocolate cake. But, with local guides, Amber and I were committed to eating local cuisine. We started with dim sum (the second picture)-. The bathroom was the most beautiful I've ever seen. Tuesday, April 10, 2007. We do sometimes get out of Taipei, and these pictures prove we took a trip to the Penghu. Islands off the southwest coast of Taiwan. We went on a three day tour with other teachers from our school. We had fun in spite of the cold weather, abundance of seafood and Chinese language tour. She was on her way. Wednesday, May 4, 2011. And I didn't believe her until she pulled it out and showed me. I can already hear her on the phone laughing with her friends about my scatterbrained mistake. Anyway I'll be home in the US in 3 days!
