Most likely because you were afraid of the consequences. As adults, we lie to ourselves. We escape from what we know to be true. We cover it up or indulge with behavior and activites in our life. We could talk about Jobs friends but we wont. Let it suffice to say that there are times when were feeling misunderstood, alone, and betrayed. Sometimes we go through some very hard things. We live in the shadows. Everything difficult indicates something more than our theory of life yet embraces. For a very long time, I’ve tried to understand suffering. I know I am not alone. God is questioned all the time. The problem is, we cannot reconcile “God is good” or “God loves us” with the pain and suffering of humanity.
