A life of adventure, captured in one way or another. Iend, Nicole, and I went to Fish a couple of weeks ago. It’s located on North King St. near La Fourchette. It was girl’s night and it was restaurant week so we knew we would get a great deal at a place neither of us had been to. What a great atmosphere! It’s kind of dark inside, but not too much! After two glasses of wine were ordered we went about our ordering of our three courses: appetizer, entrée and dessert. Appetizer: Red Curry and Crab Bisque.

We hit up the Palmetto Islands County Park Splash Island. Beau and I have been wanting to go in there for years, but alas.no children. Now? Oh yes, we went! And had a great time! Thanks to my wonderful husband and dad for building it! It has been super-fun for the girls, too! Elisea LOVES watering it as Julia tries to transfer all the dirt OUT of it! We can't wait to get our first veggies! Getting the ground ready. Making sure it's level:). We used 2x10 size pre-treated lumber. Side posts to give it some stability.

After 3 doctors' visits, I finally got diagnosed correctly - strep. But, feeling better, and determined to get my health and energy back! I think the older I get, the harder I feel like I get knocked down when sick - even though I know strep can hit hard. My body has taken a toll these past few years, but I'm not going to let it get the best of me!

This chair was a Goodwill find a while back - $14. A beautiful chair - traditional with a little "moroccan" flair. I was debating whether to keep it dark or paint it. My husband is all about some dark, wood furniture - and, I on the other hand love white! I didn't realize we had skipped a couple years - notice the date.

Sunday, May 18, 2014. Oh gosh I need to update my blog more! Daniel turned 3 months old on May 17th, it has gone so fast! I love my little boy so much, but I struggle at doing the mom thing from time to time. I know it is normal. Brian and I are working at giving me one hour out of the house a day, all to myself. I need that hour to relax and not have to worry about anything. Daniel is a mover! He is non stop, arms swinging and legs kicking. We are going to have a very busy boy when he becomes mobile.
