California: San Clemente – Solona Beach. October 14, 2013. California: Huntingdon Beach – San Clemente. Today was the first day of overcast skies and hints of rain in California. The route was nevertheless still scenic as we left Los Angeles County and entered Orange County, passing through Laguna Beach and Dana Point. San Clemente, known as the ‘Spanish Village by the Sea’, had streets lined with Spanish style colonial architecture and a long pier where we went for dinner. October 14, 2013.

Monthly Archives: September 2013. California: Santa Cruz – Monterey. Turning right onto Castroville Boulevard, the sun set and darkness descended. In the dark we passed endless artichoke fields; Castroville is the ‘Artichoke Centre of the World.’ The blackness enveloped us, our flashing lights a feeble indent into the shadows. . It's me and stuff. Advancements in Mail Technology. August 4, 2014. Just kidding. There haven’t been advancements in mail technology since I don’t know when. I’m not even going to google it to find out. I will say that I, myself, continue to hone my letter-writing process. Part of this includes finding tools that inspire me. Friday, July 22, 2011. Catch Up Post: Works in Progress. I currently have three crochet projects in the works, several of which have been in progress for some time! First, there is Great Granny. Which is a pattern from Crochet Today. I am making this for my stitching chair. But the project is on hold for now while I finish up some gift projects. Next, there is a prayer shawl. I am expecting an extremely rare evening to myself tonight, and I am hoping to get to a new stitching endeavor. 8212;with a slight...
