What I'm learning as I try/explore ICT's. As I sat in the lunch room I talked to the other students who were on Professional placement. I enjoyed listening to how they were enjoying the whole experience. I wanted to know how they managed to find ideas at such short notice for the lessons the next day. What I'm learning as I try/explore ICT's. I looked at a post by Shafy Saeed. And thought about my own unit of work. These steps are also present in my unit but the emphasis at the end on creating something with the knowledge that students have gained through the learning process is what makes Bloom’s more appealing to me. Another framework that I like is the 5 step Inquiry but I feel this is better suited to science than mathematics. I like that it encourages students to discover for themselves.

I am obsessed with running. My obsession inspired 26.2 - a visual dissection of my training for the 2009 Detroit Marathon. I wanted to see the relationship between my weeks of training, the days of the week, and the mileage I ran. I wanted to see my pace not just feel it.
