Every once in a while, something small happens that affects me in a disproportionately profound way. This week, a group from YWAM [Youth With A Mission] came to Cheb for a short outreach. In meeting them, I was unexpectedly challenged to form a more solid idea of what is often nebulously called ‘doing ministry.’. Needs = Relationship = Revealing Truth = Discipleship. I’ve made my teaching resolutions and begun a countdown to the weekend, all while hoping that I don’t drop the ball. But while August 31st clearly lacks the glamour of December 31st, it nevertheless represents a fresh start. That’s something I desperately need, and I’m very thankful for it. Praise God for new beginnings. Time to press on.
