It was so wonderful! Let me introduce you to my family:. This is my big brother, Lee, (he's 10 years older than me) his wife Florence and their youngest son, Arend (who is in his late 20s and works for Edward Jones in New York City). June 17, 2015. That's what I've been doing! I'm making a "come back" with the quilting, but some things just never change! When you are piecing a block and you make a wrong cut, well, you know the song. Rippit! At least it was just about 1/16th wrong so I was able to make the blocks work. My LQS - which I recently discovered! And did I tell you it is ONLY 20 minutes from my front door to theirs? Now, I'm not doing this because I need another UFO! March 1, 2013. Dress in Blue Day! Today is "Dress in Blue Day" to kick off "Colon Cancer Awareness" month. I'm rockin' my "Blue Over Cancer" T-shirt at my office today. I am a 9-year survivor of colon cancer. Praise the Lord! If you are over the age of 50 and have not had a colonoscopy, RUN to your phone and call your doctor. I had NO IDEA I had cancer until it was found in a routine colonoscopy - a test I had planned to never do! I am so glad I had that test! It could save your life - it did mine! Blogs...

Here with another layout I created using my favorite Helmar. I love the bright red on this train. It reminds me of all the bold summer colors of blooming flowers and since this picture was taken in France I decided to use Graphic 45 French Country paper collection. I started by using a mask(made with Helmar Craft and Hobby PVA Glue. I know they are they to stay!
