I was just thinking about Mom and thought I'd post this picture of her. She probably wouldn't think it was a very good picture of herself, but I love it. It was taken on Mother's Day 1979. Thursday, August 5, 2010. I can't believe it is August already. What is very noisy, very dramatic, very cute, and something I love so much? It's 5 little granddaughters and 1 daughter who come to visit us for the whole month of July! Well, here are a few pictures of the things we did in July. Although we enjoyed a parade and a WONDERFUL fireworks display down by the river, we had a bunch of fun doing some of our own fireworks at home. Sadie and Lydia in the pool. Trip to Yellowstone Park. Monday, January 24, 2011. This morning I opened my blinds (and I don't mean my eyelids) and I was blessed with a view of this beautiful panorama. I don't think the pictures do it justice, but one of the scenes we get to enjoy (as a prize for having to live in the cold country) is "Hoar Frost". It is really quite a pretty thing to see.
