She glanced into the Thomas gift shop, but never pushed to go in. The only item she actually even asked a little about was a Thomas balloon. She was there for the experience.

I looked at the time because it was pretty early and sometimes I wake up on weekends before the thermostat is set to goose the heat from the night setting. Nope, thats not it. So I look and it is 56 in the house and the battery light is flashing on the thermostat.

Of course, I know logically that nothing is going to happen or change on that day, and I'll probably be a mess with no "homework" to keep me busy. Still, it seems almost impossible that only 13 years ago I thought I would never have anything to show for myself, no real job, no home, no partner, only myself and two very broken children. March 19th, 2009 (07:13 pm). I heard from the genetics counsellor today. The RAD results are completely normal. Petit has a full set of normal chromosomes (no extras, none missing, no partials) and a full set of normal sex chromosomes. And no, although we CAN find out the sex now, we don't want to know, so the counsellor didn't tell us. We'll get the full karotype in a couple of weeks. But for now, I can breathe a little easier.
