Kathy Mackechney, LCSW, Adoption Therapist. Long before I became an adoption therapist, I was adopted. My parents had two biological sons and were unable to have a third child, so they decided to adopt a girl. Even before then, though, I was relinquished. I make the distinction between relinquishment and adoption. My personal experiences led me to become a therapist who specializes in adoption issues so I could help other adoptees. I hope to help you find your own healing, peace and strength.
