Innova Intermediate Training – Kathy's Quilting Journey
https://kathysquiltingjourney.wordpress.com/2016/08/21/innova-intermediate-training
Kathy's Quilting Journey. August 21, 2016. August 21, 2016. I just completed my Innova Intermediate Training at Accomplish Quilting and now I am ready! My tension should be perfect with every thread type I own because I tried them all! We were quite a big group but there were plenty of machines to choose from, and Accomplish Quilting even has machine brands other than Innova. Innova is of course the only brand machine that we use! We of course bought fresh pastries and wonderful coffee from Bit of Swiss.
Accomplish Quilting Class – Jamie Wallen – Kathy's Quilting Journey

Kathy's Quilting Journey. August 28, 2016. August 28, 2016. Accomplish Quilting Class – Jamie Wallen. This weekend I was lucky enough to attend a 2 day class at Accomplish Quilting with wonderful teacher, Jamie Wallen. I must say that throughout my 20 years of quilting, I enjoyed his class more than ANY other class I have ever taken! I could not believe the number of people in class. Many of them were actually new Innova owners, imagine! Jamie kept our undecided attention throughout the entire class.

Kathy's Quilting Journey. July 17, 2016. July 17, 2016. Women’s Journey in Fiber Weekend. This week I spent working on my piece for this year’s Women’s Journey in Fiber project, and that is all I can say about that because the group unveils each year’s body of work at the Fine Art of Fiber Show in November, and until then it is top secret. But I can talk about last year’s show. Last years exhibit was titled “Umbrellas: Open to Ideas”. I did this for each triangle piece and then stitched them all together...

While the Dew is Still on the Roses
While the Dew is Still on the Roses. Three of my blessings. Monday, February 14, 2011. HiI thought I'd share the Valentine Treat Boxes I made for my sweet little Grandchildren. I found the tutorial for the box on U-Tube. The front flap on their box tucked into a brad on the front, but I decided to use little velcro tabs to keep the boxes closed. The first box here is an image from Whimsey Doodles called "Toadly". This sweet little penguin is also from Whimsey Doodles. One of the girls that works where I ...

Skip to main content. Bernardo Chua’s Scientific Approach For Coffee Lovers. March 22, 2017. Over a decade ago, Bernardo Chua, President of Organo Gold, had a certainty that coffee, in association with mushroooms, could become a precious tool that could impact disease. Scientific revolution, based on controlled experimentation has proven coffee chemistry alone has a significant impact on chronic disease, like asthma and diabetes. Add in ganoderma mushrooms, and it improves the biological effects. It also...

I am a teacher by trade, recently retired, and a quilter by passion, for the last 15 years. When asked by my dad how many quilts I have made, I stopped counting at 50. How many do I still have? Two I have given away all the rest. But that is what quilters do, right? We make gifts filled with love, comfort, warmth and security poured into every stitch. This website is here because I want to share my passion and share my knowledge of quilting. Not comfortable ordering online? Hosted by the Old Curmudgeon.

Saturday, March 31, 2018. March UFO Goal MET! Demonstrating extreme persistence and after many hours of measuring, sewing, swearing, unsewing, and resewing,. I am so pleased to announce that I met my UFO goal this month! Was to turn a dozen asterisks blocks into a quilt top. Many times I was tempted to toss the whole thing in the. UFO closet and sew something else that was fun and easy, but I didn't. Yah me! The first task was to make a few more asterisk blocks in order to make a layout of 5 rows. I stil...
