Thursday, January 19, 2012. Yes, I know I haven't blogged in a while. No, not because I don't have anything to say. And no, not even because I have been super busy (Although school is back in full gear and I even have a part time job at a preschool- LOVE it! I promise I will write more in depth at a later time. But for now I will leave you with a few highlights of what has been going on. I sometimes get anxious hoping things could speed up but I must trust in know that God's timing is perfect.

One year ago today I woke up in a foreign country very early in the morning (thank you jet lag) and walked down a few flights of stairs to a nursery where I scooped a little one up and for the first time I looked into the eyes of an orphaned child. That trip held a lot of firsts for me. It was my first plane ride (I figured go big or go home right? Of God's heart for orphans. Thursday, August 16, 2012. The past couple of months have been a whirlwind of excitement with events including: my cousin having her second beautiful baby girl, I moved back to my Sebring home, worked with my mom on painting the playroom for the girls and getting the room ready, and oh, WE RECEIVED HER FILE! Saturday, June 12, 2010. A lot has changed since I last posted, besides the date. LOL! I have become the mother of a college student and she is currently in basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri. She is attending Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL. She is studying to be a nurse. I became unemployed in January of 2009, but for the last 6 months I have been. Working part time at The Knitting Zone. KZ is the North American distributor of Hiya Hiya. It's been an interesting time.
