Saturday, April 27, 2013. Adventures with pink pants. Camp is busy (compared to winter) and the weather is taking a turn for the better FINALLY. Spring season at Camp C. Overnight groups come Wednesday morning (are again a classroom that includes parents and teachers) and they leave Friday afternoon. Typically they get to do almost every activity we offer. It also requires ALOT of flexibility. I literally have to change and adapt what our schedule is every hour. It's all pretty awesome. Getting a degree ...

photosparke: Flaming Gorge and the Green

http://photosparke.blogspot.com/2009/08/flaming-gorge-and-green.html

Sunday, August 09, 2009. Flaming Gorge and the Green. Antelope Flat (left)/Mustang Ridge (right). Little Hole, the put-in for the Green River trip. The bow of the dory and the Green. First boat-in campsite on the Green. Look at that crystal-clear water! Near Trail's End campsite, above Red Creek Rapid. Heading into Red Creek Rapid. Bad video of our first rapid. Although it was only a Class II (or maybe even a 1 ), it was exhilarating! Our dory at the take-out, near John Jarvie Ranch. Posted by Steph Parke.

Sunday, August 09, 2009. Waiting in line to get on the Alpine Slide. Ready to tear it up! Perhaps the greatest thing about buying a waterproof and shockproof camera is that we can hand it off to the kids. Emma shot this one of Mia and the next two. Notice the sign over Max's noggin. Jackson shot this one of himself. Our favorite is probably the last one, but they're all worth a few seconds of your time. Thanks for a great weekend in Park City, Parkes! Posted by Steph Parke. Tuesday, June 09, 2009. Trav and I spent Memorial weekend in Southern Utah, and I finally had time to put together a little slide show of our digital camera pics. All of my Polaroids are in my Flickr photostream. We had a really fun trip and look forward to going back again. I used Photobucket for the slideshow and it's giving me extreme grief, so please enjoy the slideshow as its own separate post. Argh! Posted by Steph Parke. Posted by Steph Parke. Monday, June 30, 2008. I play disc golf! Cass, Trav and I thoroughly enjoyed our first disc golf outing of the summer yesterday. We saw a moose and a bunch of hippies, one of which gave us some very good throwing tips and now we are pros. Ha! Trav "sledding". he ran and tried to slide down on his feet but ended up on his ass, and with snow down his shorts! Trav and Cass at tee #18. We came home and had an impromptu hot dog grill/fireworks show. Thanks to all who came! Posted by Steph Parke.

Katie à table | Recipes and ramblings from a lover of all things French

Recipes and ramblings from a lover of all things French. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. La pizza au barbecue. August 3, 2014. Growing up, I was one of those weird kids whose favorite food was not pizza. Having said that, I couldn’t tell you what my favorite food was, although I’m pretty sure that pickles (is that even a food? The thin crust, homemade sauce, and fresh ingredients (the most impressive of course being the cheese which was about the farthest thing from the rubbery, greas...

2009 Beltwide Cotton Conferences. Friday, January 9, 2009. I have finally returned to Lubbock and Texas Tech and had a very nice trip back from San Antonio. The Beltwide. Cotton Conferences proved to be everything that I expected and more. I want to thank Monsanto for the opportunity to run the student blog at this year's conference. Janice Person and Tyne Morgan with Monsanto's public affairs were very instrumental in making my stay in San Antonio a great experience. I can tell that people involved.

Katie Roberts Serving the Lord at Black Forest Academy Germany - Welcome

Katie Roberts Serving the Lord. At Black Forest Academy. It has been a great year serving at Black Forest Academy! I had the privilege of serving in a few different roles than I had in the past. The first new one was serving as the music department head. I loved it! I had seven ladies on my team and it was just a lot of fun to cheer, come alongside, encourage, etc. I learned a lot about myself and grew through the process as well! Please be in prayer about being part of this ministry and about sending me...

Now I am off to Acadia with my whole family and prepared to have a great time! I hope to write in the future. Who knows? Friday, July 30, 2010. I'm n...
