How was I supposed to take all of my showers? But the irony was not lost on me that one of our main projects here at Amigos for Christ is helping bring 100 gallons of clean water to every house of every community we work in. This means I hang out with the Americans who come for week long mission trips and introduce them to all of my Nicaraguan friends in the communities where we are working. I hope you don't miss me too much while I'm away. January 14, 2015. Since my last post, I celebrated New Years Eve here in Santa Marta with 4 of my Barranquilla friends. We rented a sweet apartment with an awesome view in the centro and stayed in for the night. I don’t think that it could have been more perfect. Pool with a view!
