Bell Reality: May 2012
http://bellreality.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Want to see some Waegwan? We are probably leaving Waegwan soon. As in, MOVING away from Waegwan. As in - living in another place that does not rhyme with Baegwan and there is not a trampoline house next door and there is no sweet old lady at the restaurant that wants to carry Evy around on her back and introduce her to all of her neighboring shop friends. So we decided to go on a picture walk. Wesley got his water back pack ready and grabbed "his" camera. This is a couch outside someone's house. I do...

Bell Reality: Wesley's Baptism
http://bellreality.blogspot.com/2015/03/wesleys-baptism.html
Wesley got baptized last Saturday, March 14, 2015. I asked him to tell me about it. Seriously. I woke up. Okay, everyone woke up. We did some stuff and then we got ready for my baptism. We put Sunday clothes on and white underwear. And when we got to the Stake Center, we took some pictures. And then me and my dad got dressed for the baptism. And then sat down. The bishop was there. My cousins were there. And then we sang some songs. I felt really happy that I got baptized. It was a really nice feelin...

Bell Reality: March 2013
http://bellreality.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
These are a few random pictures from Korea. Above is one of my squads assaulting an objective during a Field Training Exercise. The current Army Combat Uniform doesn't work very well as camouflage in Korea. Chaplain (MAJ) Lee and his assistant SSG Muniz making their rounds. Chaplain Lee was an awesome chaplain. He always travels in a vehicle stocked with soda and Choco-pies. SPC Nichols, PFC Watson and PFC Owens taking a break from digging their foxhole. Evy enjoying some Cheetos. She had a pair of s...

Bell Reality: April Snow...it's what Utah does.
http://bellreality.blogspot.com/2015/04/april-snowits-what-utah-does.html
April Snow.it's what Utah does. Yesterday Wesley wore shorts to school. I approved. It was 73 degrees when he left. Then this happened. And it kept happening until we had 10 inches of snow in our yard. I know because I measured. It seemed important to be accurate when complaining about the amount of snow in April. My kids could NOT wait to get outside to play. Wesley played snow-ball. Extra points if it stays together long enough to come back out of the hoop. Even Penelope was in love.

Bell Reality: Bagels
http://bellreality.blogspot.com/2015/03/bagels.html
We were driving down the road and passed a bagel store. Our conversation-. Wesley: Can we get some bagels? Like, not a variety but all the same kind? Me: Sure. What kind should we get? Wesley: The kind that doesn't have anything. We can do that. Evy: I want the chocolate ones. Wesley: Yeah.that's a doughnut Evy. Evy: Can I have one of those? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sam and Bree and Jackson and Brandon. For the Love of Katie. A wonderful day outside.

Bell Reality: April 2015
http://bellreality.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
I feel like this picture is the very definition of sisters. Amelia can't figure out how to make the wiggle car work. So Evy lets her sit on the back when she rides it. Basically. they are going opposite directions. together. But seriously. these girls love each other. Groundbreaking for the new Elementary School. After all the adults lined up and pitched out that first shovel of sand for the newspaper photos, they had a group of students go up and do the same. Wesley was one of those students. Bo...I thi...

Bell Reality: April 2012
http://bellreality.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
We cleaned out Wesley's room for pretty much the second time ever. Underneath his bed we found his Halloween costume from last year. (I believe I have mentioned that we don't actually clean his room very often.) Wesley was more than happy to let Evy take care of it. She LOVED driving that car. At least she did until the steering wheel came off. And it crashed and somehow spilled chocolate syrup all over the front of her shirt. She has an idea. She will love it like a pet. And take it on walks. We don't e...

Bell Reality: Halloween at Thanksgiving Point
http://bellreality.blogspot.com/2014/10/halloween-at-thanksgiving-point.html
Halloween at Thanksgiving Point. We took our kids to the farm at Thanksgiving Point because we heard they had turned it into OZ. And of course, the first thing our children wanted to do was ride the horses. As did apparently every other child there. I wish I was lying to you when I say that we waited in line for nearly TWO HOURS. In the sun. This picture was taken after only 20 minutes. Then I waited in line while Stan took them to see the rest of the animals. Twice. Which she most certainly did NOT like.

Bell Reality: June 2012
http://bellreality.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
We went to District Conference. It was in Seoul. We stayed at this really nice Korean hotel. It's called Hotel Kobos. Do you see those wood panels behind Wesley? Wesley had breakfast with him the next morning and told him all about pretty much everything. Literally, Wesley was sitting across the table from him on the complete other side of the little breakfast room. Just the two of them. Evy made some friends at the playground. She loves pink and dresses and shoes. She wants to ride a bicycle and her...

Bell Reality: November 2012
http://bellreality.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
When we took Katie back to the airport in Seoul, we decided to drop by the Gyeongbok palace again. You know, because we could. Gyeongbok Palace was built in 1395 and housed the kings of the Joseon Dynasty. And this time we actually watched the changing of the guard. They still have giant throne room buildings as well. And places for parties. And tiny little girls that love their Aunt Katies. This sign is across the street from the palace. I love seeing what is East and West to South Korea. Of course our ...
