Monday, September 8, 2014. Okay, so. maybe I was wrong. And contrary to my last post - I do not hate it. It is, however, very overwhelming at times. Especially for a person who has never done it before. If anyone ever tells you that teaching your own children at home is easy, ignore them. They're liars. BUT, if someone tells you that it's hard work and takes extreme dedication - and that some days you might want to rip your hair out. But in the end it's worth it, then you should believe them.

Sunday, September 7, 2014. I am in serious need of prayer. I have a confession to make -. I think I hate homeschooling. I HATE. THIS. I hate every second I spend trying to figure out how to do something I have zero. I don't want to do this anymore. But I have no choice. You see - I will not. Enroll my children in public school. Seriously. Never going. to. happen. And the school we love is just too expensive. So I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. So I need prayer.

Aaron and I first "met" online, after we were introduced by a mutual friend. I can still remember that day like it was yesterday. [January 26, 2005]. 19 days later, we decided to officially become a couple. If you do the math, you'll realize 19 days later = Valentine's Day. It's a little cliche, but completely coincidental. We danced in my driveway to "Bless The Broken Road" that night. I went to bed knowing I'd marry him someday. We got engaged the following August, the day after my birthday.

Monday, October 20, 2014. Aaron and I went to Louisville with my brother and sister-in-law this past weekend, and it was so much fun! Distillery tours, awesome restaurants, The Avett Brothers in concert, roaming the streets of Lousiville late at night (we were totally NOT trying to stalk the band or anything like that, if that's what you're thinking), a stunning hotel, and. running into Joe Kwon.
