I can't wait to lazy mornings drinking coffee with a good book, having nowhere to rush off to and spending lots of time at the beach with the kiddos. Bring it on summer. During the school year I can hardly find the time to read. My goal this summer is to read more and watch tv less. So I made a summer reading list! This is how I Roe!

However I am now officially on summer vacation and that means endless days spent at the pool watching the kiddo's splash around while I enjoy a good book or two! Friday, January 28, 2011. Well there's nothing like walking on beaches one day, and then digging a couple of feet of snow the next! We finally arrived home from New Zealand late Tuesday night and laughed when we spotted our cars in the parking lot - actually they were more recognisable because they were the only two cars that weren't very visible due to being boxed in by snow. So Wednesday afternoon brought on the Big Dig:. I always love the icicles this time of year - they remind me of huge stalactites!

I remember going to safari parks a lot when I was a kid because there's one located only about a 20 minute drive from where my parents live. But it's been decades since I last visited one.
